Senior HR Business Process Analyst Payroll Modernization
Job Description
What will you do?
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including flowcharts, standard operating procedures, business requirements, business case, testing plans, project status updates and relevant reporting.
- Analyze HR operational processes and workflows to identify root cause and areas for improvements, optimization and automation
- Facilitate workshops and interviews with stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather requirements and understand root causes.
- Support the design of new processes while collaborating with senior members of the team, as well as Technology and Digital Solutions teams.
- Monitor process performance metrics and KPIs to measure success and opportunities for further enhancements
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Proficient in business process design and requirement gathering methodology and tools.
- Experience in payroll related conversion or transformation programs
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive opportunities for improvement as well as telling a story
- Proficient in process modeling tools (eg. Visio) and project documentation tools
- Adaptable to shifting priorities and constraints. Ability to manage scope creep, propose workarounds, and balance stakeholder demands.
Nice-to-have
- Experience in business change management, with a focus on innovative tool or techniques and digital adoption
- Familiarity with HR processes, tools and payroll related employment regulations and filings.
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma or Agile
