Leading biopharma, diagnostic and academic institutions trust us to quickly deliver high-quality biospecimens and reliable, reproducible biomarker data, so they can outpace their competition and push the leading edge of innovation using our Science at your Service TM business model.Key Responsibilities:Operate basic laboratory equipment (PCR machine, tabletop centrifuge, etc.)Strong ability to follow protocols and procedures and complete tasks in a team environment.Execute assignments according to established protocolsReview raw data for quality and consistencyBasic statistics evaluation with Microsoft ExcelMaintain an accurate and up-to-date laboratory notebook, tracking work as requiredWork in a regulated GCP environment with a Laboratory Information and Management Software (LIMS)Participate in general lab maintenance such as cleaning freezers, shared lab space and equipment, and stocking shared reagents and consumablesParticipate in the establishment of new assays and devices as part of the validation processEnsure compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to the Company and its operationsQualifications / Experience:Completed vocational training as BTA/CTA/MTLA (or similar)Meticulous attention to detail and quality, both in actual laboratory practice and in documentationExcellent laboratory skills, including proficiency in pipetting, documentation and procedure (clinical, sterile, or molecular, depending on the needs of the laboratory)Experience converting measurements and preparing chemical solutions and buffersAbility to understand protocols and perform protocols with consistency as demonstrated through previous laboratory experienceBasic experience or proficiency with laboratory equipment and laboratory analysis such as Histology and Immuno-HistochemistryExcellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English languageCompensation and Benefits:Discovery Life Sciences is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices, and we strive to provide employees with total compensation packages that are market competitive.
