Primary Location: United States (US) - Wisconsin - Horicon Function: Factory Engineering (CA) Title: Assembly Manufacturing Engineer - 121882 Onsite/Remote:Onsite Position ## Your Responsibilities As a Assembly Manufacturing Engineer for JD Horicon Works located in Horicon, Wisconsin, you will: * Support cross-function teams for implementation of new product manufacturing processes through EPDP (Enterprise Product Delivery Process) * Provide support to assembly production departments regarding safety, quality, ergonomic, and tooling concerns * Investigate, plan, and implement new manufacturing processes or technologies * Use the line design process to develop or improve assembly methods for new products and/or revisions to existing products VISA Sponsorship is NOT available for this position ## What Skills You Need * 3 or more years' experience in a manufacturing environment * 3 or more years' experience with assembly tools and processes * 3 or more years' experience with problem solving and root cause analysis ## What Makes You Stand Out * Strong communication skills and ability to interact with both salary and wage employees * Experience with industrial engineering principles such as work measurement and setting standards * Experience with electronic tools like MPPlanner for creating sequence of events with associated work instructions and for dynamic simulation of assembly operations * Working knowledge of Assembly processes, Torque Tools, and line balancing * Project management experience * Understanding of electronic tools such as Creo, CreoView, Factory CAD * Experience supporting Continuous Improvement on a production line * Experience mentoring and training * Experience in a union environment ## Education Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following: * Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering Technology or equivalent related work experience What You'll Get At John Deere, you are empowered to create a career that will take you to where you want to go while working in an inclusive team environment.
