This position will own and execute the Tech strategy for Japan as well as experiment, drive and scale initiatives with high impact on customers and our organization, specifically migration/modernization and GenAI - our biggest Tech focus. This position will support cross area initiative to accelerate business performance, will be responsible for implementing KPIs and measuring performance of the organization, supplying the management team with relevant and timely data and facts on health of the business.
This individual will need to collaborate effectively with internal end-users and cross-functional teams to solve problems, implement new reporting solutions, and deliver successfully against high standards. This is a hands-on position - the ideal candidate must be willing to “roll up the sleeves” and deliver with bias for action.
This position will work with the several stakeholders such as Sales, Business Development, Professional Services, Partner, and the Worldwide Solution Architects and Customer Solutions Management team to facilitate knowledge sharing, best practice dissemination and alignment. The individual must have the ability to communicate effectively across multiple technical and non-technical business units, as well as across other geographies.
Key job responsibilities
As a Business Operations Manager in our team, your role is critical and highly visible across the organization. Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Accelerate the expansion of migration/modernization & GenAI initiatives by providing thought leadership, data and visibility to Tech
• Drive definition and adoption of goals, programs and tooling across the Tech team to meet the rapid growth of the business and achieve attainment of strategic objectives
• Track and report all key performance indicators, goals, efficiency and trend analyses
• Collaborate with other Sr operations managers across areas and other Geos to identify and implement best practices
• Ensure consistent and efficient execution of all functions by working closely with internal business partners and stakeholders to drive adoption and implementation of global standards, processes and programs.
A day in the life
On a typical day, you'd be working with several leaders sharing your vision, data and ideas on bringing the best to our customers by prioritising best initiatives, sharing what is working and what is not, and writing your thoughts on taking the team performance to next level. You'd also be working with several of your peers across the world sharing your lessons and learning from their experiences to bring the best to the Geo and share the best from Geo.
About the team
We are seeking an experienced Business Operations Manager in APJ Field Tech Operations organization to partner with APJ Field Tech Organization to define, land and execute against the strategic priorities. This role will create and implement success metrics for the organization, and drive predictability in operations, planning, goals setting, strategic initiatives, as well as reporting and success measuring of the key internal initiatives. The ideal candidate has strong business strategy background, organizational planning experience, broad technical skills, strong financial acumen and a passion for analytics and data.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software
- Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent
- Experience working within a high-growth, technology company

Basic qualifications
- 5+ years of Microsoft Excel experience- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
