Truck Dispatcher
As a Truck Dispatcher here at Solstice Advanced Materials, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our trucking fleet. You will be accountable for coordinating the dispatch of trucks, optimizing routes, and ensuring timely delivery of goods to our customers. Your attention to detail and strong organizational skills will be essential in managing multiple shipments and ensuring customer satisfaction.
You will report directly to our Logistics Manager and you'll work out of our Geismar, LA location.
In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our trucking operations, ensuring that goods are delivered on time and in the most cost-effective manner. You will work closely with drivers, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and coordination throughout the transportation process.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate the dispatch of trucks and drivers to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Optimize routes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency
- Communicate with drivers, customers, and other stakeholders to provide updates on shipment status
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery
- Resolve any issues or demands that arise during the transportation process
- Guide and oversee end-to-end payroll processing, including data entry, calculations, and disbursements
YOU MUST HAVE
- Minimum of 1 year of truck dispatching experience
- Ability to work on call as needed
- Experience with transportation software
WE VALUE
- Knowledge of transportation regulations
- Experience with Trimble or Samsara

COMPENSATION
The annual base range for this position is $70,313-$87,950. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Solstice considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well.
