We are seeking a skilled Azure Local Engineer to design, implement, and manage hybrid cloud environments using Microsoft Azure technologies. This role focuses on Azure Stack, Azure Arc, and on-premises integrations to ensure seamless, secure, and scalable infrastructure across local and cloud platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and manage Azure Local / Hybrid Cloud solutions (Azure Stack HCI, Azure Arc-enabled services)
Integrate on-premises infrastructure with Microsoft Azure environments
Configure and maintain virtual machines, networking, and storage in hybrid setups
Implement identity and access management using Azure AD (Entra ID)
Monitor system performance, availability, and security across hybrid environments
Automate deployment and management using PowerShell, ARM templates, or Bicep
Ensure compliance with security and governance policies
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and connectivity issues
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for cloud adoption and migration initiatives
Maintain documentation and provide technical guidance to stakeholders
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3–5+ years of experience in Microsoft Azure or cloud infrastructure
Hands-on experience with:
Azure Stack HCI / Azure Arc
Virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, VMware)
Networking (VPN, ExpressRoute, DNS)
Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory
Experience with scripting (PowerShell preferred)
Understanding of cloud security and compliance best practices
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications such as:
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
Azure Solutions Architect Expert
Experience with:
Kubernetes / Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep)
Familiarity with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
