Save Report this job Shift: 10:00 PM-7:00 AMHourly Rate: $34.21 an hourJob SummaryPlant Electrician position that includes up to a $1500 quarterly bonus and an improved pay scaleThe Plant Electrician is responsible for a variety of duties including but not limited to safely providing maintenance support to our fast-paced Council Bluffs, IA plant. Utilize both excellent electrical/electronic skills and knowledge (PLCs, AC, DC motors and drives, schematics) and mechanical skills and knowledge (pneumatics, hydraulics, bearings, power transmission, lubrication) in our manufacturing environment. Work positively with maintenance and operations teams to troubleshoot and solve problems.Essential Job FunctionsAbility to work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for positionAbility to work holidaysRegular attendance to ensure production requirements are metAbility to read, write, communicate, and comprehend written instructions in EnglishKnowledge of electronic testing equipmentKnowledge of Planned MaintenanceExcellent communication skillsMust be well organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneouslyAbility to work independently as well as with others as a teamAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics/printsAdvanced computer skills including knowledge of spreadsheetsAbility to complete work/purchase requestsAbility to lift up to 75 lbs.Job DutiesResponsible for assisting Lean Initiatives such as Set-Up Reductions and TPM.Drive Productivity Improvements (Cycle Time Reduction) in Assigned Departments by Optimizing Programming, Tooling, and Fixturing. Develop and load part programs into controller using any of the below methods: Keyboard; Computer, IE Manufacturing.Ability to program variety of machines and controls such as: Fanuc, Siemens, Allen Bradley,...
