The opportunity:

As a member of the Account Management team, your mission will be to proactively grow our client relationships by building and implementing solutions to their critical supply chain challenges. This is a unique opportunity to help expand our business in Korea. You will also support our share of wallet expansion with existing clients while helping to identify new opportunities across the APAC region.

You will:

  • Develop and launch new solutions that meet the needs of the largest and most complex global Freight Forwarding clients.
  • Focus on accelerating the growth of all services across the Flexport Portfolio including Air, Ocean, Trade Advisory, Customs, and Control Tower.
  • Partner with our global sales teams in the US, Europe, and APAC to identify expansion opportunities with our existing accounts in order to grow Flexport’s share of wallet.
  • Work cross-functionally across Gateway Operations, Procurement, Fulfillment, Planning, ProServe, Implementation, Legal, Industry SMEs, and Trade & Financial Services teams to develop and execute client strategies that maximize business outcomes.
  • Drive sales by upselling in Korea, demonstrating the Flexport value proposition through client app demos, coordinating client onboarding with cross-functional teams, and managing client operation SOPs to ensure consistency and efficiency across all processes.
  • Conduct business review meetings for key clients, review operational performance, and follow up on NPS to enhance client satisfaction.
  • Oversee account-level quality assurance by implementing proactive metrics evaluations, managing volume forecasts, and resolving discrepancies to ensure optimal account performance.
  • Build executive-level relationships with customer stakeholders and maintain strong partnerships with key decision-makers at some of the world’s largest brands.
  • Stay up to date on the latest industry and supply chain developments, proactively educating and supporting clients through change.

You should have:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
  • 3–5 years of Account Management experience.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with a strong track record of successfully delivering innovation and driving results.
  • Experience working within complex global organizations and collaborating across cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes.
  • Experience building global client relationships and leveraging those relationships to grow strategic partnerships.
  • Passion for team success with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • A hands-on, results-oriented mindset with a willingness to roll up your sleeves.
  • Strong strategic thinking, planning, and execution skills.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills across written, verbal, phone, and virtual channels.
  • Exceptional negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong understanding of global business cultures and the ability to adapt communication styles accordingly.
  • Highly collaborative with a proven ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
  • High integrity and ethical standards that align with Flexport’s values.
  • A compliance-first mindset to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements in a highly regulated industry.
