The Opportunity
Join us as a TrafoSchool Trainer Academy Lead Build and lead the TrafoSchool Trainer Academy, owning the full lifecycle of trainers, SMEs and knowledge, ensuring availability, quality, sustainability and continuity across Engineering and R&D.
This role owns delivery, people, resources and knowledge continuity, ensuring TrafoSchool can scale reliably.
How You'll Make an Impact
- TrafoSchool Trainer Academy Ownership: Establish and lead the Trainer Academy as a formal TrafoSchool entity; Define and maintain trainer competency frameworks (technical, pedagogical and soft skills); Ensure consistent quality standards across all trainers globally.
- Trainer, SME & Study Coordinator Governance: Own the global and local SME registry, ensuring full traceability; Define and maintain trainer pools per HUB, ensuring coverage, availability, rotation and succession; Define and execute trainer, SME and study coordinator nomination strategies; Ensure coverage of all critical business domains and avoid single‑points‑of‑failure.
- Certification & Enablement: Own trainer certification processes, including Train‑the‑Trainer programs and TKT coordination; Ensure trainers are certified, up‑to‑date and delivery‑ready; Define onboarding and re‑certification rules.
- Trainer Performance, Feedback & Recognition: Define and operate structured feedback mechanisms for trainers and SMEs; Provide feedback based on delivery quality, engagement and impact; confirm trainer availability, ensure rotation and professional growth; Define and execute recognition strategies.
- Knowledge Lifecycle & Sustainability: Ensure full knowledge lifecycle management: creation, transfer, update and succession; Ensure continuous renewal of expertise across Engineering and R&D.
- External Trainers, Suppliers & Academia: Own governance and strategy for external trainers and suppliers; Coordinate universities and external training partners; Decide when to build internally versus buy externally, ensuring quality and alignment with TrafoSchool standards.
Your Background
- Senior, execution‑focused profile with strong Project / Program Management background.
- Highly organized, delivery‑driven and experienced managing people, resources and timelines.
- Very good business acumen and experience in Engineering or industrial environments.
- Used to operating in complex, international and multi‑HUB contexts.
- Comfortable coordinating senior experts without direct hierarchy.
- Fluent English required; additional languages are a strong asset.
