This role focuses on managing enterprise backup environments, supporting disaster recovery activities, and maintaining service quality aligned with operational KPIs and SLAs. The individual will collaborate across infrastructure, application, cloud, and security teams to support critical recovery processes and continuous service improvement. ## What you’ll do * Manage and support enterprise backup environments using Commvault and NetBackup tools * Monitor backup success rates and ensure compliance with agreed SLAs and KPIs * Perform troubleshooting for backup, restore, replication, and media management issues * Conduct backup health checks, capacity planning, and performance optimisation * Support incident, problem, and change management activities in line with ITIL practices * Participate in disaster recovery (DR) planning, testing, and execution * Validate data recoverability through restore testing and DR exercises * Collaborate with cross-functional teams during recovery events * Contribute to automation initiatives and operational efficiency improvements * Drive continuous service improvement through reporting and monitoring * Support internal and external audits related to backup and recovery * Maintain documentation, SOPs, recovery procedures, and technical standards ## Who you are * Knowledge and understanding of Commvault and NetBackup administration * Experience in backup and recovery operations within enterprise environments * Familiarity with ITIL-based incident and change management processes * Ability to support disaster recovery planning and execution * Strong communication and collaboration skills * Commvault Certified Professional (required) ## Not a perfect fit?
