Job Summary:**
The Production Executive at Unilever India Exports Ltd. will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the production processes to ensure efficient manufacturing, high-quality output, and timely delivery of products for the export market. This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing operations, a commitment to safety and quality standards, and the ability to drive continuous improvement.
Job Responsibilities:**
* Manage and supervise daily production activities, ensuring adherence to production schedules and targets.
* Monitor and control production processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
* Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, quality standards (e.g., ISO, HACCP), and company policies.
* Lead and motivate production line staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
* Collaborate with planning, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth production flow and product availability for export.
* Implement and maintain lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Prepare and analyze production reports, identifying trends and recommending corrective actions.
* Manage inventory of raw materials and finished goods within the production area.
* Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with maintenance for timely resolution.
* Participate in new product development and process improvement projects.
Job Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Production, Chemical, or equivalent) or a related field.
* 2-5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing role, preferably within the FMCG sector or a similar export-oriented industry.
* Proven understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
* Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
* Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
* Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems is an advantage.
