Your work will directly influence our architecture, infrastructure, deployment strategy, and engineering standards from the ground up.This is a hands-on role for someone who loves building robust systems, optimizing performance, owning infrastructure, and solving hard problems where reliability and speed matter.What We’re Looking For4 + years backend or systems engineering in production environments.Deep knowledge of distributed systems, networking, and databases.Production proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and observability stacks.Comfort with pub/sub architectures (Kafka, MQTT).Experience designing and operating AI inference services at scale (Triton, TensorRT, ONNX Runtime) across distributed GPU clusters.Experience with computer‑vision/AI model serving, on‑prem/edge deployments, or security‑sensitive/government environments.Computer Science degreeExpertise in PythonBig BonusesHands‑on experience integrating LLMs (RAG, agents).Knowledge of stream‑processing for high‑volume video data.Expertise in Go, Rust, or C++.Why ConntourCutting-edge technologyWork on real-time vision models, multimodal AI, distributed video systems, and fast operational interfaces.Mission with impactYour systems will help protect lives and critical infrastructure in Israel and beyond.Ownership from day oneJoin as one of the first 10 employees and help shape the architecture, infrastructure, engineering culture, and technical direction of the company.Hard problems, real usersBuild systems that need to perform reliably in complex, high-stakes, real-world environments.We move fast, care deeply, and are looking for teammates who do the same.Join us - let’s build something that matters.
