We are accredited by NATA and ISO 9001, ensuring our services meet both Australian and international standards.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Field Sampling Technician to join our Environmental team based in Chinchilla, QLD.In this hands-on role, you will carry out environmental and occupational hygiene sampling across gas, water, soil, air, and waste, while supporting the delivery and growth of our field services.Working closely with the Australian Field Services Manager, you will assist in planning and executing field programs, ensuring all activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with company procedures.This role will primarily involve travel within Queensland; however, candidates must be available for occasional interstate travel as required.This role also requires the ability to drive a manual vehicle.What you’ll be doingConduct environmental and occupational hygiene sampling across Australia in line with company proceduresMaintain and calibrate sampling equipment, ensuring servicing and documentation are up to dateBuild and maintain strong working relationships with clientsSupport quoting and project coordination for field programsPrepare permit applications and HSE documentation for site accessAssist with client enquiries and technical requestsReview reports and results prior to release to clientsQualificationsAbout youMinimum 2 years’ experience in field sampling or a related roleUnderstanding of laboratory practices and sample handlingCurrent First Aid certificateUnrestricted manual driver’s licenceWillingness to travel interstate when requiredIf you enjoy hands-on fieldwork and are looking to grow your career in environmental services, we’d love to hear from you.
