Job Description

The Associate Director of Admissions Marketing is responsible for developing, aligning, and executing a comprehensive undergraduate admissions marketing strategy over the course of a recruitment cycle. This position leads the integration of communications across CRM platforms, digital and print marketing, and partnership-focused outreach, particularly supporting transfer student pipelines. The role exists to directly influence enrollment outcomes by ensuring timely, data-informed marketing strategies that respond to evolving recruitment priorities. The position serves as a critical liaison between the Office of Admissions and campus partners, including Academic Affairs, Institutional Research, Information Technology Services, and University Communications.

Responsibilities and Results

Academic Recruitment & Marketing — 45%

•Establish and execute a strategic recruitment communications plan aligned with enrollment goals 2

•Develop and manage transfer partnership marketing strategies and real-time communications needs

•Build and maintain cross-functional and external partnerships to support recruitment initiatives

Admissions Communications — 30%

•Direct CRM strategy, website content, print materials, and digital/social platforms

•Develop and implement a comprehensive prospective student communications plan

•Ensure consistent, timely, and targeted messaging across all stages of the recruitment funnel

Admissions Office Leadership — 15%

•Provide lead work direction to CRM Data Specialist

•Oversee CRM utilization, training, and data-informed communication strategies

•Develop and manage the admissions marketing budget

Additional Duties — 10%

•Perform other duties as assigned in support of enrollment and institutional priorities

Minimum Qualifications

•Master’s Degree and 3 years of Higher Education experience in Admissions, Advising, Enrollment Management or Marketing OR Bachelors Degree and 4 years of Higher Education experience in Admissions, Advising, Enrollment Management or Marketing.

•Graphic design experience

•Advanced knowledge of recruitment and enrollment practices

•Experience with a customer relationship management tool

•Advanced knowledge of marketing strategies

•Experience with social media platforms

•Ability to interact with multiple and diverse groups of people and a commitment to fostering a diverse working and learning environment

Preferred Qualification 

•Campus visit programming leadership experience

•Experience leading staff
