You will design, program, and operate automation solutions, integrate machinery and digital systems, and ensure stable and efficient workflows in the production environment. With your technical expertise and process understanding, you will play a key role in sustainably improving quality, safety, and productivity.You will report directly to the Team Lead Competence Center and work closely with interdisciplinary teams such as Production, Quality, Procurement, and Development to implement innovative automation concepts. From day one, you will take ownership of your area of responsibility and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, standards, and technologies. At the same time, you will have the freedom to optimize existing structures and introduce new solutions for a future-oriented, digitalized production environment.What is your Day to Day Mission:Analyze existing production processes, identify automation potential, and derive practical improvementsDevelop, program, and commission PLC, HMI, and SCADA solutions to increase efficiency and scalabilityCollaborate closely with Production, Quality, and Development teams in the introduction of new technologies and systemsEnsure stability, safety, and continuous optimization of automated systems during ongoing operationsContribute to the digitalization of manufacturing (Industry 4.0, machine connectivity, data integration)Establish and further develop standards and best practices for automation and process safetyTrain colleagues to build automation expertise across the teamWhat you bring to the team:Degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable qualification with relevant practical experienceSolid knowledge of PLC programming, HMI/SCADA systems, and experience with industrial networks and automation standardsStrong analytical thinking, structured problem-solving, and a responsible working style, even in complex project situationsTeam-oriented communication skills, ability to collaborate in interdisciplinary projects, fluency in English, German is a plusMotivation to contribute new technologies (e.g., robotics, Industry 4.0, IT/DevOps), optimize processes, and actively share knowledge within the teamWhy Quantum-Systems:We believe in the power of combined efforts: straightforward tech expertise paired with a customer-centric focus.We are industry pioneers who are ambitious, bold, and visionary.
