As Senior Manager, Network Supply Planner, you'll lead the development and agreement of feasible supply plans for Finished Goods, Drug Product, and Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients across a tactical planning horizon of typically three years. Reporting to the Director, SPU Lead GBU SC, you'll work in close alignment with execution planning and the internal and external manufacturing network - playing a central role in ensuring seamless supply to patients worldwide.
This is a high-visibility role where your analytical expertise, digital acumen, and ability to drive cross-functional alignment directly support BMS's ability to deliver life-changing therapies to patients on time, every time.
What You'll Do
* Lead the monthly Finished Goods, Drug Product, and API network planning process for assigned brands, managing and communicating deviations against agreed metrics including inventory months of cover and plan vs. budget
* Review global analytics for your assigned portfolio, including product trends, demand evolution, inventory projections, supply performance, and risks
* Develop what-if supply scenarios and recommendations in response to actual or anticipated changes in demand or supply
* Understand site capacities, capabilities, and supply risks, coordinating issue and bottleneck resolution as appropriate
* Work closely with BMS sites and the External Manufacturing group to ensure alignment of site manufacturing plans and CMO forecasts in line with contracts
* Lead cross-functional sub-teams to align plans, drive solutions, and proactively identify risks and opportunities for specified business deliverables
* Provide input to the Global Supply Review process, driving escalation of major supply risks and managing active communication and action focus
* Own the product structure process to ensure accurate demand propagation through the end-to-end network in BMS planning and execution systems, including Rapid Response and SAP
* Maintain supply planning master data governance and systems management to ensure an accurate supply plan
* Support new product introductions to ensure supply network plans are optimally aligned and executed against established timelines
* Leverage visualisation and data contextualisation tools including BI platforms such as Tableau and Power BI to monitor KPIs, perform root cause analysis, and provide data-driven decision support
* Identify and drive continuous improvement in supply planning tools and processes, supporting systems enhancements and capability projects in SAP and Kinaxis Rapid Response
* Contribute to the digitisation and automation of planning workflows to improve speed and accuracy
* Actively upskill on emerging digital technologies, AI, and machine learning in planning use cases
