We are seeking a strategic, hands-on Vice President of Software Engineering to lead the development, evolution, and delivery of our new Integrated Platform. This best-in-class, event-driven platform abstracts hundreds of enterprise applications from client-facing experiences, providing a unified entry and exit point through a common ontology, standardized APIs, and scalable event-driven capabilities.
The platform connects products and services across Capital Markets, Wealth Management, Investor Communications, and other business domains. The VP will own the core engineering strategy and execution for the platform, building high-performing engineering teams while remaining deeply engaged in architecture, design, technology decisions, and delivery.
- You will design, develop, modify, adapt and implement the short- and long-term solutions to technology needs through new and existing applications, systems architecture, network systems and applications infrastructure.
- You will review system requirements and business processes; codes, tests, debugs, documents and implements software solutions.
- Provide application software development services typically in a defined project. Develop program logic for new applications or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications.
- Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented.
- Test new software code and typically works in a highly efficient ("Agile") development environment.
- Applies a theoretical knowledge-base to work to achieves goals through own work
- Characterize by specific functional expertise typically gained through formal education
- Provide guidance to others as a project manager using technical expertise
You will be recognized as an expert within the company and will need to anticipate internal and or external business challenges and/or regulatory issues; recommend process, product or service improvements
Solve unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business
Contribute to the development of functional strategy
Lead project teams to achieve milestones and objectives
Functional Knowledge:
-Requires understanding and application of procedures and concepts within own discipline and basic knowledge of other disciplines

-Leads projects with notable risk and complexity; develops the strategy for project execution

-Solves unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business; requires conceptual and innovative thinking to develop solutions
Interpersonal Skills:
-Communicates complex ideas, anticipates potential objections and persuades others, often at senior levels, to adopt a different point of view
Compensation Range: The salary range for this position is between $255,000 - $265,000.
Broadridge considers various factors when evaluating a candidate's final salary including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education.
