The opportunity
Join Hitachi Energy as a Documentation Specialist and be an expert. This role allows you to gain in-depth knowledge of the specific market and provide our clients with the best-in-class product. How you’ll make an impact
1. You will develop, write, and edit a variety of technical documents, including user manuals, installation guides, service manuals, specifications, and internal process documentation.
2. You will collaborate with engineers, product managers, and other subject matter experts to gather information and ensure the technical accuracy of documentation.
3. You will translate complex technical information into clear, concise, and easy-to-understand language for various audiences.
4. You will maintain document control systems, ensuring proper versioning, archiving, and accessibility of all documentation.
5. You will implement and enforce documentation standards, templates, and style guides.
6. You will review and update existing documentation to reflect product changes, new features, or process improvements, and utilize various authoring tools, content management systems as needed.
7. You will be responsible for ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
1. You hold a bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Proven experience (3+ years) in technical writing or documentation within a manufacturing or technology environment, preferably in the energy sector.
3. Experience with version control systems and document lifecycle management.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
5. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
6. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to technical documentation is a plus.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese.
