This isn't a role for someone who wants to sit behind a screen and wait for applications to roll in. It's for someone who lights up at the challenge of finding great people, building the system to scale it, and using technology to make the whole thing faster and smarter.You'll work directly with our National Operations Lead. You'll own one of the most important levers in the business from day one: getting the right people in the door, faster. And you'll use AI tools, including Claude, to automate, optimize, and continuously improve how we recruit.No prior recruiting experience required. We're hiring for curiosity, energy, and the drive to build something great.What You'll OwnRun a full-cycle recruiting process to hire 10+ handypeople per month nationallyBuild and maintain a healthy, high-volume candidate pipeline through creative sourcingImplement AI-powered screening and outreach tools to scale the funnel and reduce time-per-hireIdentify new sourcing channels and experiment relentlessly to find what works best for tradespeopleOwn the candidate experience: fast, warm, and professional from first contact to first dayWhat You'll Do Day to DaySource candidates and screen resumes across Indeed, Craigslist, and beyondKeep candidates engaged and excited through every step of the processDraft and maintain job postings; keep our ATS (Ashby) clean and accurateCoordinate interviews, collect feedback, and keep hiring managers alignedBuild and run AI workflows with Claude to automate repetitive sourcing and screening tasksSupport offers and onboarding; close the loop on every person you bring inWhat We're Looking ForYou're fired up about building something from the ground up and making it better every weekYou're energized by high-volume work and don't shy away from making the 50th call of the dayYou pick up new tools fast, especially AI, and you apply them to real problemsWhen you hit a wall, you find another way.
