The role will help position PTE as the preferred English language testing solution while creating sustainable partnerships that drive awareness, adoption, and bookings.

This position requires a commercially minded relationship builder with strong business development skills and the ability to identify, develop, and convert new opportunities through networking, prospecting, presentations, industry events, and partner engagement.

The role works closely with colleagues across Sales, Marketing, Product, Government Relations, Pearson VUE, and global PTE teams to support business growth, market expansion, and strategic initiatives.

Location: Greater Toronto Area (GTA), Ontario, with regular travel across Canada and the United States as required.

High-Level Responsibilities

  • Contribute to achieving revenue targets in Canada and the United States by growing PTE bookings, expanding market share, and developing sustainable partner pipelines.

  • Identify, recruit, onboard, and manage partners across the international education, language training, workforce development, and migration sectors.

  • Represent the North American market with PTE colleagues globally to drive activity between North America and sending markets to align strategies and identify areas of collaboration.

  • Maintain an in-depth and up-to-date understanding of market trends, competitor activity, and sector dynamics, ensuring key insights are systematically shared with the wider team and relevant geographies.

  • Proactively position the PTE brand in the market by increasing awareness, understanding, and adoption across the international education and migration sectors.

  • Generate new business opportunities through networking, outreach, referrals, conferences, and industry events.

  • Deliver presentations, webinars, workshops, and training sessions to partners and prospective stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with partners on marketing and promotional activities that support bookings and revenue growth.

  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to support partner activation and long-term account development.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales, business development, partnership management, or a related role required.

  • Experience in international education, English language learning, language assessment, workforce development, immigration services, or related sectors.

  • Comfortable working with budgets, revenue targets, and cost figures.

  • Knowledge of the Canadian and/or U.S. international education landscape.

  • Existing network within higher education, international recruitment, immigration, language learning, or workforce development sectors.

  • Degree qualified.

  •

Personal Profile

  • Based in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

  • Strong organizational, business development, and relationship management skills.

  • Ability to communicate, orally and in writing, with internal and external stakeholders at varying levels of seniority.

  • Experience delivering partner-facing events, webinars, and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
