Join us. YOUR IMPACTThe Senior Technical Analyst performs as a subject matter expert to support OpenText Professional Services implementations. They must have the ability to interpret business process requirements and produce technical specifications, project documentation and coordinate development activities with global development teams. This is a customer-facing role and requires excellent communication skills and the ability to manage priorities across multiple projects. As the lead analyst on projects, the Senior Technical Analyst also provides overall leadership to analyst and mapping teams by setting priorities, technical direction, and ensuring consistent quality deliverables and best practices are followed.YOU ARE GREAT AT- Interpret business requirements and produce technical specifications for map development- Work cross-functionally to define implementation design and functional requirements- Provide consulting services to customers on mapping correlations based on EDI / Electronic Commerce best practices- Provide consulting services to customers on business application requirements for EDI / Electronic Commerce- Provide leadership to mapping and analyst teams on best practices and methodologies- Review project deliverables for technical consistency and approve prior to client review- Train and mentor junior analysts and map developers- Work on multiple large, complex projects- Consult with customers on integration with OpenText products- Establish priorities and assign work to analysis and mapping teams- Assist in identifying and resolving issues during testing phases- Provide status reports and escalate issues to Project Managers- Manage project schedules and requirements- Up to 5% travel may be requiredWHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEEDEight years EDI / EC / B2B experience as an EDI business analystExcellent knowledge of translation products and mapping applications:  Examples include Contivo, Biz Manager, Application Integrator, TrustedLink Enterprise or equivalent translation productsExperience with B2B translation flows, mapping analysis and map development.Experience with X12, EDIFACT, TRADACOMS and XML standardsProven analytical skills with the ability to solve complex client problemsProven ability to provide technical leadershipStrong verbal and written communications skillsPreferredProficient using OpenText analysis and mapping tools, Contivo Analyst experience preferredKnowledge of OpenText products / servicesEducation and Experience:Bachelor of Science in Information Systems preferredIndustry Experience:Knowledge in one or more industries such as Transportation, Automotive, Petroleum, High-tech, Retail or HealthcareONE LAST THINGOpenText is more than a global technology leader—we are a values-driven community built on trust, accountability, and innovation.
