This is an exciting opportunity for a practically minded, seasoned professional with an in-depth knowledge of traded products and preventative controls. The team has coverage across all Markets’ businesses globally, multiple risk and technology functions enabling the candidate the opportunity to gain exposure to multiple stakeholders for career development.What you’ll doIn-depth analysis of booking processes across multiple applicationsDefine business requirements for proposed controls to meet regulatory commitments and business objectivesCollaborate effectively with Sales/Trading, Technology, Operations and other functionsEnsure that delivered functionality meets business requirementsPlan and execute seamless go-live of new controlsContribute to project management activities governing controls implementationInvestigate control failures and drive forward control enhancement initiativesWhat we’ll need from youUniversity degree in a related fieldRelevant industry experience preferred in Markets business management, operational risk, middle office, technology, product control or other relevant control functionStrong working knowledge and subject matter expertise in Markets traded products and related control principlesExperience in working with technology teams and understanding of the change management processEffective negotiation and relationship skills, comfortable in responding to and managing challenging stakeholdersExcellent communication skills up to senior levelA proactive and “no surprises” approach in communicating issues and strength in sustaining independent reviewsStrong problem solving and analytical skills with a Risk and Controls mindsetWhat we can offer youThis is a role that'll offer you the opportunity to build an in-depth knowledge of Markets’ businesses and their products, opportunity to evolve the control framework, exposure to stakeholders across Front Office businesses, various risk stripes and technology teams.We work hard to have a positive financial and social impact on the communities we serve.
