You will build and maintain ETL pipelines that ingest, normalize, and store data from ISOs/RTOs and other public sources, directly contributing to our core data products and M&A intelligence capabilities.Key responsibilitiesETL and pipelinesBuild and maintain ETL pipelines to ingest data from ISOs/RTOs (MISO, PJM, ERCOT, SPP, and others)Parse, normalize, and validate large structured and semi-structured datasetsAutomate data extraction from public sources, regulatory filings, and queue publicationsWork hands-on with Apache Airflow for pipeline orchestrationData qualityImplement data validation checks and QA processes across pipelinesDetect and resolve data anomalies, duplicates, and inconsistenciesContribute to monitoring and alerting mechanisms for early issue detectionMaintain documentation of data sources, schemas, and transformation logicMarket mappingMap U.S. electricity market data including interconnection queues, generation assets, and ownership structuresResearch and integrate new data sources related to renewable energy projectsSupport the expansion of our data products, datasets, and data APIsCollaborate with product and ops to translate data needs into pipeline requirementsInfrastructureManage and optimize PostgreSQL databases for large-scale energy dataWork within Azure cloud infrastructure for deployment and storageIdentify and address bottlenecks in data capture and processing workflowsDesign performant data models for structured and relational energy datasetsWhat we offer100% remote from Argentina, with a team distributed across Argentina and Israel2 in-person team gatherings per year with team-building activitiesSmall, focused team where your impact is visible and your decisions matterDirect collaboration with the CTO and real input into technical directionGrow alongside a company at the intersection of technology and the energy transitionRequired qualifications2+ years of hands-on Python development in a data engineering contextStrong experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL and relational data modelingProven ability to work with large data volumes and build performant pipelinesHigh proficiency in English in an English-first technical environmentProactive, self-driven, and comfortable working autonomouslyNice to haveExperience in the energy sector (utilities, renewables, ISOs/RTOs)Familiarity with Apache Airflow or similar orchestration toolsExperience working with Azure cloud servicesExperience with web scraping and data extraction (Playwright, Selenium, etc.)Familiarity with LLMs for data extraction and normalizationTech stackPythonPrimary development languagePostgreSQLRelational data modelingApache AirflowPipeline orchestrationAzureCloud infrastructureLLMsData extraction and normalizationApply for this roleSend us your details and we will be in touch.
