Sr Materials Management Analyst (m/f/d)

We are seeking a senior supply chain professional with strong SAP Material Master and governance expertise to lead data quality, master data standardization, and planning parameter governance initiatives that support Honeywell's S/4HANA transformation and supply chain excellence objectives.

Position Summary

This role is a strategic supply chain position responsible for the governance, quality, standardization, and continuous improvement of Material Master Data across the organization. While aligned to the Materials Management job family, this is not a traditional material planning role. The primary objective is to ensure master data integrity that supports planning, procurement, inventory management, manufacturing, and SAP S/4HANA transformation initiatives.

The position serves as a business subject matter expert for Material Master governance, partnering with Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, Engineering, Finance, IT, and Master Data teams to establish standards, improve data quality, and drive process compliance.

Key Responsibilities Material Master Governance

• Own and maintain Material Master governance processes and standards.
• Review and validate requests for material attribute changes.
• Ensure compliance with global data standards.
• Drive governance adoption across business functions.
• Partner with stakeholders to improve data ownership and accountability.

Planning Parameter Management

• Govern critical planning parameters including MRP type, lot sizing, lead times, safety stock, procurement parameters, and replenishment controls.
• Ensure planning-related master data aligns with business requirements.
• Monitor how master data quality affects planning reliability and supply execution.

Data Quality Management

• Monitor material master health and data quality metrics.
• Identify root causes of data errors and process gaps.
• Lead corrective and preventive action initiatives.
• Develop dashboards and reporting to track compliance.

SAP S/4HANA Enablement

• Support master data cleansing and migration activities.
• Participate in testing, validation, and deployment efforts.
• Ensure governance processes support future-state SAP operating models.

Continuous Improvement

• Standardize material master processes across sites and businesses.
• Lead governance improvement projects.
• Deliver training and support for business users.
• Promote best practices for master data management.

Required Qualifications Education

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in Materials Management, Supply Chain Planning, Master Data Management, Procurement Operations, Inventory Management, SAP business processes, or a closely related field.

Technical Skills

• SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA experience
• Material Master expertise
• Strong understanding of MRP concepts
• Advanced Excel skills
• Data analysis and reporting experience
• Cross-functional supply chain process knowledge

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP S/4HANA implementation experience
• SAP MDG (Master Data Governance) experience
• Power BI experience
• SQL or data analytics background
• APICS / ASCM certification
• Lean / Six Sigma experience
• Experience supporting global organizations
