To achieve this ambitious vision, we’re assembling the best team in the world - dedicated to turning cutting-edge science into life-changing, real-world solutions.About This RoleWe’re looking for a Microsystems Engineer to help design, prototype, and scale the microfluidic and microfabricated wearable platform at Level Zero. Working closely with the founding team, you’ll take concepts from CAD-driven design through cleanroom fabrication, device validation, and process refinement—building hardware that can ultimately be manufactured at scale.What You'll DoDesign and develop microfluidic wearable platforms, including CAD modelling, lithography, and experimental setupFabricate biosensor devices, including iterative prototyping in cleanroom environments, device validation, and preparation for scale-up and manufacturingRun device characterisation experiments and keep track of performance on synthetic replicas, or during clinical studiesContribute to early-stage R&D, collaborating with engineering leadership to define and refine future design iterationsWhat You BringThe ideal candidate must have:Master’s degree with 1-4 years of industry experience, or PhD with 0-2 years of industry experience in microfluidics, microtechnology, materials science, biomedical engineering, nanotechnology, or a related discipline, with a focus on microfluidics and/or wearable or microneedle technologiesHands-on experience in microfabrication cleanroom environments, including (but not limited to): silicon wafer processing, laser etching, photolithography, wet etching (HF, KOH), dry etching (RIE, ICP), microscopy, thin film deposition, e-beam lithography, laser lithography, and any other relevant microfabrication techniqueProven experience in microfluidic chip ideation and design, including core components such as mixers, metering systems, valves, etcStrong understanding of microscale fluid dynamics and flow control (pressure-driven flow, capillary flow, paper wicking, etc.)Experience in mechanical testing and material characterisation of biological samplesNice to have:Experience with handling and flow of dermal interstitial fluidExperience designing wearable medical devicesKnowledge of electrochemistry and biosensing principlesPrior work in...
