Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Digital Banking team, supporting the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Jenkins, Java, and Unix Shell scripting, along with expertise in automation, build and deployment processes, and enterprise application delivery. This role involves collaborating with development, infrastructure, and operations teams to enhance software delivery, improve system reliability, and drive DevOps best practices across Digital Banking platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and related DevOps tools.
Automate build, deployment, testing, and release processes to improve delivery efficiency and reliability.
Develop and maintain automation scripts using Unix Shell scripting and Java.
Support application deployment, configuration management, and environment provisioning across development, testing, and production environments.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize build pipelines, deployment workflows, and system performance.
Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
Implement code quality, security scanning, and artifact management processes using enterprise DevOps tools.
Maintain documentation for deployment processes, automation scripts, and operational procedures.
Support incident resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Promote DevOps best practices, automation, and operational excellence within Digital Banking projects.
Required Skills
6–9 years of experience in DevOps, Build Engineering, or Release Engineering roles.
Strong hands-on experience with Jenkins (mandatory).
Proficiency in Unix Shell scripting and Java (mandatory).
Experience working with Oracle databases.
Experience supporting applications on HPUX, Linux, and Solaris operating systems.
Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts, automation, version control, and release management.
Experience troubleshooting build, deployment, and infrastructure issues.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience with Maven, JFrog Artifactory, SonarQube, Veracode, GitOps, Ant, Gulp, Grunt, Bower, or NPM.
Knowledge of Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, JavaScript, React, XML, SQL, and CSS.
Experience with Apache Camel (CXF), AEM Forms/Sites, TeamSite, or WebLogic Portal.
Exposure to Full-Stack application development.
Experience in Digital Banking Environments.
Knowledge of Web Content Management (WCM) platforms.
Experience implementing infrastructure and deployment automation using DevOps best practices.
Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and DevSecOps methodologies.
