Please review the following job description:

Manage and lead the strategic review and execution of asset investments, divestitures and portfolio restructuring through periodic analysis of purchase/sale opportunities, risk reduction tactics, balance sheet optimization strategies, and product suite(s), and pricing Direct the execution of periodic consumer loan and servicing rights strategic review, by turning initiatives into effective deals and solutions. Responsible for developing and negotiating transactional terms, settlement and transfer procedures, and facilitating legal review to produce the most favorable economic return or outcome for the portfolio and bank.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Develop and lead strategies and initiatives to structure and manage asset investments, divestitures and portfolio restructuring which meet capital allocation, strategic goals, and financial targets of Consumer Lending’s three primary lending businesses of Real Estate, Unsecured Lending, and Indirect Lending.3 Responsible for execution of asset selection, preparation and review of transaction materials, to include bid tapes and offering memos, transaction marketing strategies, and solicitation of bids/submission of offers. Lead and direct due diligence efforts.                                      
Identify and implement solutions to maximize execution and mitigate transaction risk to include interest rate, pricing, liquidity, reputational, and counterparty risk.  Lead the economic analysis of transaction or strategy decisions.  Negotiate transaction agreements,  terminations, letters of intent, trade confirms, amendments and waivers for consumer lending line of business. Collaborate, lead, direct, and monitor activities of others in Consumer Capital Markets and the Consumer Lending business to ensure operational deadlines and deliverables are met.  

Partner with others to execute on duties as needed, implement strategies, and formulate solutions to improve or exceed performance and return expectations (i.e. strategies for sub and non-performing assets, repurchase/securitization opportunities and amend/extend or terminate relationships).

Cultivate and strengthen external relationships in support of existing and future business, as well as, actionable intelligence to support continued market liquidity for Truist and Portfolio transactions.

Evaluate new business opportunities; make recommendations to senior Consumer Lending leadership to drive revenue, moderate loss or maximize performance of Portfolio assets.
Advise on solutions to complex problems with broad impact on the Consumer Lending business, often outside of Portfolio initiatives, to include MOE initiatives and legacy deal compliance.   
The annual base salary for this position is $140,000 - $180,000.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or Finance, or equivalent education and related training.
10+ years of experience in capital markets, banking or finance within the  broader Consumer Lending industry.
Strong leadership, management skills, maturity, sound judgement, and communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional decision making.
Thorough understanding of the origination and servicing of Consumer loans, including deep knowledge of Consumer loan documents, underwriting and regulatory compliance.
Significant experience reading and analyzing on legal documents governing the purchase and sale of Consumer Lending assets.  
Experience developing strong relationships across a broad range of leadership functions in order to influence and effect change.
Advanced expertise in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products and database systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree and/or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.

Experience and fluency with data management tools (SAS, SQL, EssBase, VBA etc.).

Ability to provide input and recommend changes to legal documents to effectively manage and mitigate transaction risk.
