Harbor Health is an entirely new multi-specialty clinic group in Austin, TX utilizing a modern approach to co-create health with those who get, give, and pay for it — allowing everyone to fully flourish. In this non-traditional Pharmacy Technician role, you will work alongside our core pharmacy and clinical team with a passion for preventative healthcare to monitor and improve member adherence to medication. You will communicate directly with members and their caregivers, gather and analyze adherence data, and help demonstrate meaningful outcomes — all in alignment with our mission of transforming healthcare through our payvider model.POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESInterview members and/or family members to obtain and document information about newly prescribed medications, adherence to their documented regimen, and any reported side effects or barriers to adherenceTriage medication information gathered from members and relay to appropriate clinical staffCollaborate with the Pharmacy Director and Information Technology staff to develop workflows and improve efficiency in data gathering — both manually and through cutting-edge technology — to document and improve medication initiation and adherenceCollaborate with the Pharmacy Director to perform data collection and develop metrics that demonstrate outcomesDevelop and refine workflows to achieve efficiency within the clinic systemParticipate in special projects and perform other duties as assignedDESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCERequired:Licensed Certified Pharmacy Technician, credentialed and in good standing with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy prior to hire dateMinimum 5 years of retail or hospital experience as a Certified Pharmacy TechnicianHigh School Diploma or equivalentAbility to communicate positively and effectively with members and/or their caregiversStrong teamwork capabilities while maintaining ability to function independently with sound judgmentFlexibility to shift priorities, maintain confidentiality, and establish effective interpersonal work relationshipsPreferred:Medication reconciliation experienceExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsExceptional verbal and written communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or similar software, and comfort navigating EMR platformsExperience with patient financial assistance programs and patient advocacyBilingual in English/SpanishPhysical Requirements:May require travel between clinic sitesWHAT WE OFFERCompetitive salary and incentivesGenerous PTO10 paid holidaysMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance401(k) Investment PlanCompany EquityAt Harbor Health, we're transforming healthcare in Texas through collaboration and innovation.
