HealthPartners is hiring a Consumer Driven Product Coordinator. 

 

POSITION PURPOSE

  • Administer Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) business including internal and external customer relations, providing responsible and thorough service.

  • Manage and monitor the expedient and accurate adjudication of claims and adjustments.

  • Organize and oversee the overall resolution of written and verbal inquiries from internal and external customers.

  • Provide oversight and analysis of FSA and HRA claims processing and protocols.

  • Serve as a liaison between employer groups, member services, finance, marketing, and account managers to develop, communicate and effectively administer policies and procedures.

  • Develop documentation and upkeep of policies and procedures.

  • Serve as project leader in the implementation of new products, programs and employer groups.

  • Provide weekly reporting on product operations. 

  • Provide effective training, guidance, motivation and support necessary to enable individual and team work in line with the individual, unit, department objectives and marketplace expectations.

  • Maintain current knowledge base regarding FSA/HRA, operating systems and related regulatory issues.


 

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  1. Responsible for the development of ongoing HRA and FSA product operation functions. Responsible for development and analysis of procedures, design and implementation of review protocols consistent with the overall direction of the HealthPartners Consumer Driven Health Plan (CDHP) programs.

  2. Develop and maintain CDHP policies. Keep updated on current CDHP legislative policies, changes and protocol.

  3. Collaborate with colleagues across HealthPartners integrated healthcare continuum in CDHP services. 

  4. Communicate with enrollees to gather documentation needed to adjudicate CDHP claims received.

  5. Provide overview and education to new client groups. Assist sales with the installation of new employer group set-up.

  6. Generate and provide clients with activity reports.

  7. Provide administrative leadership to other Membership Accounting staff including product knowledge, personnel functions and professional development.

  8. Identify potential improvements in automated or manual systems. Provide expertise and training of system functionality. Responsible for reporting system problems and implementing changes to processing systems or products.

  9. Create high performance work teams through the use of performance measurements, individual goal setting and monitoring an evaluation of results.

  10. Participate in appropriate departmental and organizational meetings.

  11. Maintain confidentiality of information obtained in performance of duties as outlined by HealthPartners policy.

  12. Ensure the proper administration of product operations with emphasis on non-routine claims processing, payment administration and record keeping.

  13. Provide support to assigned key clients to ensure client confidence, prompt problem resolution and regular effective communications.

  14. Stay abreast of systems, technology and regulatory developments that impact the administration of FSA/HRA Plans.

  15. Develop and maintain working relationship with Members Service to provide quality service and problem resolution for Plan Participants and Client Groups.

  16. Meet and exceed department and unit quality and production standards and expectations.

  17. Ensure that Client Groups receive timely reporting on FSA/HRA Plan transactions.

  18. Provide timely and quality production and processing reports on assigned client groups.

  19. Ensure the security of all processing procedures, especially with regards to information and data security and security of the processing of payments.

  20. Perform other related duties as assigned by manager.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate’s degree and a minimum of two years of related experience in areas such as product administration, accounting or benefits.

  • Ability to learn systems that support FSA/HRA operations.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Strong analytical and problem management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as a team member in variable situations.

  • Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize and adapt in a flexible work environment


 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Health Care, Finance or related degree

  • Working Knowledge of plans and IRS regulations regarding FSAs and HR
