Procurement Buyer m/f/d

Responsibilities:

• Respond to MRP messages in order to procure material to support production requirements. Responsible for maintenance of purchase orders, monthly forecasting for suppliers, maintenance of key procurement parameters. Dealing with hold racks, invoice discrepancies and customs issues.
• Manage supplier performance to ensure site is working with the right strategic suppliers to support short- and long-term objectives.  Take assertive position with suppliers who are past due to ensure that every alternative is explored to improve past due delivery schedules.
• Procure material according to ordering policies designed to minimize inventory costs and being left with inactive, obsolete, and surplus inventory. 
• Actively support and seek opportunities to develop and streamline relationships with suppliers. Actively work to improve the purchasing process.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize procurement processes.
• The employee is obliged to ensure active participation in company projects, company development, and identification of possible cost lowering measures, improved yield and productivity. 

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor degree or higher (preferably focused on Material management)
• Experience in Purchasing or relevant, preferably in a production company.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Self-motivated and capable to work under pressure
• Technical knowledge of Procurement/sourcing
• Planning, negotiations and agreements/contract management
• Proficiency of English and Czech / Slovak 
• Microsoft Office (Excel in advance level).
• Excellent Technical skills of SAP purchasing system
