About the RoleDiscover Dollar is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to join our People & Culture team. This is a hands-on internship designed to provide meaningful, real-world exposure across three core HR functions: Talent Acquisition, Employee Engagement, and Learning & Development. The intern will work closely with experienced HR professionals, gaining practical skills that complement their academic background in Human Resources.Candidates who successfully complete the program will receive a formal Internship Completion and Experience Certificate issued by Discover Dollar. This is an internship-only engagement and does not constitute or guarantee a full-time offer.Key Responsibilities1. Talent Acquisition & Recruitment SupportSupport end-to-end recruitment for intern, entry-level, and mid-level roles:Draft and publish job descriptions on job boards, LinkedIn, college portals, and internal channelsScreen and shortlist resumes against defined role criteriaSchedule and coordinate interviews; communicate with candidates at every stageMaintain the applicant tracking system (ATS) and update recruitment trackers and dashboardsConduct initial telephonic or video screening calls for intern and entry-level positionsFollow up with hiring managers to collect timely interview feedbackSupport offer rollout, pre-onboarding documentation, and joining formalitiesBuild candidate pipelines through college connects, campus job fairs, and LinkedIn sourcingPrepare weekly and monthly recruitment MIS reports for review meetings2. Employee Engagement & Fun ActivitiesPlan and execute initiatives that strengthen team culture, morale, and connectivity:Work with the employee engagement team to conceptualize, plan, and execute the employee engagement calendar (monthly/quarterly themes, celebrations, and recognition programs)Coordinate along with the employee engagement the fun activities including team-building events, cultural celebrations, festival observances, and contestsWork closely in managing end-to-end event logistics - venue, vendors, materials, and communicationsDesign and publish internal communications: mailers, posters, and social posts for engagement initiativesGather post-event feedback through surveys and compile participation and impact reportsSupport Rewards & Recognition (R&R) programs - certificate and gift coordinationContribute creative ideas to keep engagement activities inclusive, relevant, and enjoyable3. Learning & Development — Content Creation & LMS ManagementSupport the L&D function in building learning assets and managing the Learning Management System:Create /coordinate to create engaging learning content: presentations, e-learning modules, facilitator guides, job aids, and video scriptsUpload, organize, and maintain courses, assessments, and learning paths on the LMSTrack learner enrolment, completion rates, and assessment scores; generate L&D MIS reportsCoordinate logistics for training sessions — calendar invites, room bookings, trainer communications, and attendance trackingCurate and refresh the training content library to ensure all materials are current and accurateSupport new-joiner onboarding programs: prepare induction decks, welcome kits, and buddy-program materialsAssist in vendor coordination for external training programs and certificationsGather post-training feedback and compile learning effectiveness metricsEligibility CriteriaEducational QualificationRecently completed a Bachelor's degree with Human Resources/Psychology specialization (BBA, B.Com, BA, or BSc) or Master's degree (MBA, MHRM, MA in HR/IR, or MSW) with a specialization or major in Human Resources, Personnel Management, Industrial Relations, or Organizational Behavior.Students in their penultimate or final year of study seeking a mandatory internship or dissertation-linked placement are encouraged to apply.Recent graduates...
