As the Biopharma Regulatory Strategist, you will help shape and execute regulatory strategies that accelerate growth across Ecolab’s Life Sciences and Bioprocessing businesses. In this global role, you will partner across Regulatory, Commercial, R&D, Digital, Government Relations, and key account teams to position Ecolab as a trusted regulatory partner across the full biopharma lifecycle. You will bring external perspective, deep CMC expertise, and strong business acumen to translate regulatory change into measurable customer value, risk mitigation, and revenue impact.

What You Will Do:
- Lead breakthrough biopharma regulatory strategies across digital, commercial, and advocacy priorities that create competitive advantage.
- Drive profitability, sales growth, and risk mitigation through regulatory strategies for Biopharma accounts.
- Serve as a strategic regulatory advisor to global Bioprocessing leadership.
- Connect Regulatory, Commercial, R&D, and Digital teams to deliver differentiated, end-to-end customer solutions.
- Shape global biopharma and chemical regulatory frameworks to help accelerate growth, remove structural barriers, and deliver value across markets, segments, and customers.
- Develop Biopharma compliance, innovation, and CMC customer talent with a focus on business advantage through regulatory change management.
- Bring external perspective from health authorities, industry forums, and customers to anticipate change and translate it into business and customer value.
- Help define and execute regulatory strategies that support molecule conversion and growth across priority biopharma and CDMO accounts.
- Enable scalable revenue through predictive compliance strategies for digital/AI software and services.
Minimum Qualifications
- Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, or MSc) in Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 15 years of progressive Regulatory Affairs experience within biopharma, with deep CMC regulatory strategy expertise for biologics.
- Direct experience with global health authorities, including FDA, EMA, and PMDA, and experience leading advocacy efforts.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to frame regulatory choices as business trade-offs.
- Experience in digital strategy or digital transformation initiatives.
- Excellent executive communication and influencing skills across all levels.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with key account management, or commercial strategy in Life Sciences.
- MBA.
- Demonstrated ability to build, develop, and scale high-performing teams.
- Ability to connect regulatory strategy to enterprise growth, commercial priorities, and business transformation.
- Proven ability to simplify complex priorities and focus teams on the highest-value opportunities.
- Experience leading transformation, innovation, and digital adoption across functions.
- Strong ability to influence broadly and shape decisions beyond one function.
Annual or Hourly Compensation Range
The base salary range for this position is $138,700.00 - $208,100.00. This position is eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentives based on performance, per plan terms. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.Benefits
