Te Kowhiringa | The Opportunity
We’re looking for a skilled Industrial Electrician with experience in mechanical, HVAC, or commercial electrical systems.
This is a hands-on, site-based role where no two days are the same. You’ll be working across a range of environments, supporting installation, maintenance, and fault-finding on complex electrical and mechanical systems.
Key responsibilities:
- Installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial and commercial electrical systems
- Working alongside mechanical plant and HVAC systems
- Fault-finding and troubleshooting to minimise downtime
- Supporting works across civil and infrastructure environments where required
- Ensuring all work meets NZ safety and compliance standards
- Collaborating with other trades and teams on-site
Ngā Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills
We’re looking for someone with strong, practical experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical environments, along with:
- Current NZ EWRB practising licence
- Proven experience in industrial, mechanical, or commercial electrical work
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
- Experience with plant equipment, HVAC, or automated systems (advantageous)
- Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
- Full Class 1 driver’s licence
- Willingness for occasional travel
- Solid attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Confidence using basic computer systems for job recording
