Senior Product Manager - Microsoft Azure

This role is eligible for full-time remote employment within the US or can be hybrid in our Durham, NC office 2-3 days/week. Please note that we unfortunately cannot sponsor H1B visas at this time. Arpio participates in the US Government's eVerify Program.

Who We Are

Modern enterprises run their most critical applications in complex, cloud-native environments, and the threats keep multiplying: outages, ransomware, bad actors, human error. Most disaster recovery tools stop at backing up data. We've built the next generation of cloud resiliency and disaster recovery for AWS and Azure with an automated, application-aware platform that recovers a company's entire application stack, not isolated resources, in under an hour. We protect production workloads for enterprises that cut across multiple industries like healthcare, financial services, and SaaS, the kind of companies that can't afford downtime.

At Arpio, we believe great companies are built by people who take ownership, move with urgency, and consistently deliver results. We just closed our $15M Series A to expand into new clouds and build out our roadmap, which means we're growing the team right now, and your work will directly shape where we go next.

This isn't simply another job. It's an opportunity to help build a company.

About the Role

Azure is Arpio's newest cloud offering and a key pillar of our growth strategy. We are actively investing in growing our Azure go-to-market team, and we're looking for a Senior Product Manager to own the product side of our expansion.

In this role, you'll move fluidly between deep customer discovery, market research and analysis, and hands-on product execution. You are equally comfortable running a market-shaping conversation or a customer discovery session as you are running a demo or making a technical tradeoff call with engineering. A successful candidate will be excited about taking ownership over the complete lifecycle of a new product offering and bringing it to the next level.

What You'll Do

Azure Product Management

  • Own the vision and direction for our Azure vertical end to end: make resource coverage decisions, ensure parity with our AWS product, and handle Azure-specific use cases and scenarios.
  • Lead discovery with customers and design partners, translating real-world usage and evaluation feedback into positioning, packaging, and roadmap direction.
  • Drive roadmap planning & communication, balancing customer requests with new product innovation and active market validation.
  • Own Azure feature delivery, collaborating closely with Engineering to translate customer needs into product requirements. Guide development through our agile process to launch with quality and efficiency.
  • Partner with Marketing and Customer Success to deliver customer documentation and marketing collateral for new feature releases.

Go-To-Market & Partner Ecosystem

  • Work closely with our Azure go-to-market team, turning customer and market signals into input that sharpens our Ideal Customer Profile, messaging, and packaging.
  • Build fluency in the Microsoft partner ecosystem (Marketplace, co-sell motion) through our startup accelerator participation to extract real commercial value from that relationship.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success on launch plans and long-term customer support initiatives.

How We Work

At Arpio, we care about the outcome as much as the effort it took to get there. We take initiative, follow through, and report back on what we learned along the way. That same instinct shows up in how we treat customers and each other: we respond quickly, speak honestly and openly, and trust our teammates to take direct feedback as a chance to grow. We move like a startup because we are one, spending wisely and treating every dollar and every customer like they matter, because they do. If that's how you like to work, you'll fit in well here. For this role, that looks like:

  • Natural problem-solver: you have a customer-first mindset and take a creative approach to designing solutions.
  • High accountability: as the owner of this workstream, you know that details matter and you're relentless in ensuring that you're delivering real customer value in the product. You take ownership over your work, can be largely self-directed, and are constantly learning.
  • Strategic thinker: you can connect low level details to a bigger picture and contemplate how decisions today might impact the trajectory of the product and the business.
  • Excellent communicator: you're comfortable representing the product to diverse internal and external stakeholders, and you’re able to break down complex concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Biased toward action: you're able to weigh tradeoffs and chart a course forward, even in ambiguous conditions or with a limited data set. You favor lightweight processes over building structure for its own sake.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven success bringing B2B SaaS products to market: you've helped shape a new product's direction, working closely with early adopters, and you're energized rather than unsettled by an evolving roadmap.
  • Strong foundation in cloud computing concepts: you're fluent in how infrastructure, networking, identity, and compute/storage models work in a modern cloud environment, regardless of which provider you've worked in most. You have hands-on experience in the Azure ecosystem.
  • High technical learning velocity: you're energized by going deep on new technologies and concepts, and can upskill on new areas fast enough to earn engineering's trust and hold your own in partner conversations.
  • Comfort designing and building sample cloud applications and infrastructure: you're able to get hands on to conduct user acceptance testing for new features and create demos for internal and external audiences.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams.

Nice to Have

  • Background or experience in the data protection space.
  • Previous experience as a cloud architect or solutions architect.
  • Based in or near the Triangle Region of North Carolina.  The Product Management team is based in our Durham office, and hybrid work is an option.

Salary and Benefits

  • Competitive salary + Equity
  • Arpio will cover 100% of your personal medical premiums, 100% of your life insurance premium, and 75% of your personal premiums for vision and dental (because the insurance companies won't let us pay 100%). For your dependents, Arpio will cover 75% of medical, dental, and vision premiums. No life insurance is included.
  • For fully remote employees, a $125 home office stipend or $250 company-subsidized co-working membership
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Small, collaborative team environment
  • Opportunity to work on the cutting edge of cloud technology
