Autoclave Technician
Clean Harbors located in La Porte, TX is seeking an Autoclave Technician. The Autoclave Technician will be responsible for processing medical waste in the medical processing side of the facility. This includes using an autoclave.
Pay: $19.50/HR
Requirements: Hepatitis B vaccine- can complete after hire. $750 bonus after completion is available.
Shift: Monday-Friday. 6:30am-3:00pm. OT and Saturdays as needed.

Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
Operate an autoclave to process medical waste;
Load and unload route trucks;
Prepare waste loads for shipment to Recycle Center/Distribution Center;
Manage inventory order and receiving process;
General housekeeping and keeping a clean work area;
Ensure waste is stored in safe and proper manner.
HS Diploma or equivalent required;
Experience and familiarity with Excel, Word, etc;
1 plus years of related labor and computer experience preferred;
Ability to drive trucks within facility;
Forklift skills preferred.
