We move fast and need to move faster.If we succeed, science will be the only limit to medicine.All full-time roles are in person in New York.About the roleAs part of our Strategic Finance team, you will help drive how the company plans, allocates resources, and makes decisions as we scale. You will work directly with the CEO and leadership team to translate strategy into financial models, evaluate key bets, and ensure we are investing behind the highest-impact opportunities. This role sits at the center of the business, spanning growth, product, operations, and fundraising. You will build the models and frameworks that define how we think about market expansion, unit economics, and long-term strategy, while also helping us operate with rigor day-to-day.This is a demanding role, with a high level of autonomy and responsibility. You will be expected to "act like an owner" and commit yourself to Forus' success. If you are low-ego, hungry to learn, and excited about intense, impactful work that drives both company growth and accelerated career progression, we want to hear from you.If you join, you will:Build and own financial models that shape how Forus plans, forecasts, and makes high-stakes decisionsPartner with product, growth, and operations teams to define unit economics and evaluate where we should invest to drive the most impactAnalyze performance across the business, identifying what’s working, what’s not, and where we should double down or change courseLead scenario modeling and sensitivity analyses to support decisions around pricing, market expansion, hiring, and capital allocationWork directly with the CEO and leadership team on key initiatives, including new business lines, strategic partnerships, and fundraising strategyHelp design and evolve how the company operates, including planning cadence, resource allocation, and financial discipline as we scaleWe’re looking for you if you have:2–10 years of experience in strategic finance, investment banking, private equity, growth equity, or a similar high-rigor analytical roleStrong financial modeling skills — you are comfortable building from scratch and pressure-testing assumptionsAbility to go from an ambiguous question to a structured answer with minimal guidanceExcellent written and verbal communication: capable of translating complex financial insights into clear narrative for executive leadership, board, and investors.Track record of moving quickly, finding shortcuts, and going to unreasonable lengths to deliver on goalsHigh...
