Our team implements and administers policy and/or administration of short or long-term international assignments. We oversee immigration services, policies, and regulations to ensure compliance. We execute functional business plans and contribute to the development of functional global mobility strategy, guiding decisions by divisional strategy.

About the Role

The Employee Relations Partner will serve as a trusted advisor across Latin America, US & Canada, supporting managers, employees, HR Business Partners, and leaders on a broad range of employee relations matters. This role conducts workplace investigations, provides guidance on employee concerns and disciplinary matters, and helps ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies while delivering fair, consistent, and well-documented outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct workplace investigations involving concerns such as discrimination, harassment, hostile work environments, and other employee complaints.
  • Gather and analyze information from employees, managers, witnesses, and stakeholders to determine findings and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Advise managers on employee performance concerns, performance improvement plans, corrective actions, and disciplinary processes.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders to recommend appropriate responses based on precedent, risk assessment, and organizational policies.
  • Support involuntary terminations, reductions in force, and other sensitive employee matters, including on-site support for employment actions in Mexico when required.
  • Conduct exit interviews when requested and provide guidance to leaders on employee relations best practices.
  • Prepare investigation reports, case summaries, and written documentation while managing multiple concurrent cases.
  • Collaborate with the global Employee Relations team to share knowledge, ensure consistency, and support organizational initiatives.

Requirements

  • Experience in Employee Relations, Human Resources, Labor Relations, Workplace Investigations, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and employee relations practices in Latin America, particularly Mexico.
  • Experience managing investigations, disciplinary actions, performance management cases, and employee concerns.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced Portuguese, English and Spanish proficiency.
  • Willing to commute to our Reforma office for a hybrid work schedule.
