The team is focused on using modern AI systems to improve products, operations, and customer experiences in a secure and responsible way. Role Serve as a technical lead for AI initiatives, owning technical decomposition, delivery coordination, dependency management, and execution quality from concept through production. Design, build, and productionize LLM-powered and agentic applications, including retrieval-augmented generation, multi-step reasoning workflows, structured outputs, and prompt safety. Work hands-on to de-risk complex problems by writing, reviewing, and operating production-grade AI systems. Key responsibilities Partner with business domains to translate requirements into clear technical plans, delivery timelines, and product features. Align AI use-case design with platform patterns, governance expectations, and operational support models. Ensure systems are testable, observable, resilient, and supported by automated testing and clear operational feedback loops. Design and operate secure, low-latency services and microservices using modern authentication and authorization practices. Collaborate with platform, security, and risk partners so systems meet enterprise compliance, operational, and governance standards. Influence technical direction by contributing reusable AI patterns, engineering standards, and architecture guidance. Mentor peers through code reviews and design discussions while raising the bar for quality and ownership. Qualifications Experience leading complex AI initiatives across multiple stakeholders from business case through production rollout. Strong Python experience and hands-on work with data science libraries such as Scikit-learn, NumPy, Matplotlib, or Seaborn. Hands-on experience building LLM-powered applications, including retrieval, agents, structured outputs, and prompt safety. Experience with AI safety, evaluation, and responsible AI practices. Strong full-stack fundamentals and microservices experience. Production experience with API authentication and authorization, including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, or SAML. Deep understanding of structured and unstructured data management. Experience with automated testing, including unit and functional testing, test strategies, and automation frameworks. Nice to have Experience as a technical lead for an AI-driven product in partnership with product management. Experience with agentic AI frameworks and multi-step AI reasoning processes. Experience with MLOps, model versioning, containerization, and CI/CD for machine learning systems. Knowledge of classical machine learning algorithms for use cases such as fraud detection, credit risk scoring, or customer segmentation. Experience building and deploying NLP or voice-response applications. Familiarity with Google's Vertex AI technology stack. Experience with modern web frameworks such as React or Angular.
