What you’ll do:

  • You’ll be based out of our Justin, TX service center

  • You’ll have an opportunity to work overtime and weekends, and there is a potential for travel

  • You will work on 100kw-6000kw resistive & resistive/reactive load banks.

  • Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment using hand tools and power tools.

  • Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring and equipment, using standard testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, mergers, as well as observing functions to ensure compatibility and safety of components.

You are:

  • High School diploma/GED

  • 2-5 years of testing electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring and equipment, using standard testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, mergers, as well as observing functions to ensure compatibility and safety of components

  • Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, along with reading and knowing schematics

  • Based on the customer requirements, you may be required to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card

  • Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 75 lbs.

  • Valid driver’s license

Other essential job requirements  

  • Availability to work the assigned schedule, travel to work locations (if needed) and be on standby for work outside of regularly scheduled shifts

  • Must be able to stand, walk and sit for prolonged periods of time; and be able to walk over uneven terrain with functional balance that does not require any special assistive devices

  • Must be able to move the extremities and spine through a functional range of motion that will permit work to be safely performed from ground / floor level to full overhead level

  • Must have good finger dexterity to manipulate small items, functional hand-eye coordination, and functionally grip with adequate strength to safely hold tools and stair railing or ladders

  • Must be able to safely meet the physical demands outlined in the Essential Physical Capacities Assessment and pass the post-offer physical abilities assessment, which includes being able to lift (60 lbs), push/pull (80 lbs), carry (60 lbs), climb stairs and ladders as well as a combination of climbing while carrying objects (15 lbs), stoop, kneel and squat
