This position will be located at our Mission Systems sector in Sunnyvale, CA .  The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Maritime/Land Sensors and Systems division, Marine Systems business unit. Marine Systems is a leading provider of launcher systems, propulsion systems, and power generation systems for naval submarines and surface ships.Basic Qualifications:Basic Qualifications for an Associate Mechanical Engineer:•            Be completing or has completed their Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution•            Be majoring in or having majored in Mechanical Engineering or a related STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree•            Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)•            The ability to obtain Special Access Program within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needsBasic Qualifications for a Mechanical Engineer:•            Be completing or has completed their Master’s degree from an accredited institution•            Be majoring in or having majored in Mechanical Engineering or a related STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree•            Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)•            The ability to obtain Special Access Program within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needsPreferred Qualifications for both levels: Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.00/4.0 or higherExperience with Computer Aided Design (CAD), such as SolidWorks, NX, etc.Experience or coursework related to Machine DesignPay Range: Level 1: $69,400 - $104,000Level 2: $83,400 - $125,200campusjobs
