Who we’re looking for
Toyota Motors North America, Manufacturing Business Finance (TMMTX) is looking for a highly motivated and qualified Sr. Analyst for Manufacturing Cost Management.
The primary responsibility of this role is to lead & support the Cost Management for TMMTX’s Vehicle & Unit Plant Operations.
Reporting to the Manufacturing Business Unit Finance Manager, the person in this role will provide accurate and timely cost information & analysis to support management’s decision making as well as be a key resource to support TMMTX Manufacturing teams. This will include overall site budget and forecast management by developing schedules, managing stakeholders to get inputs, issue resolution and escalation as necessary.

Shop Labor Cost Lead
o Productivity Budget/Forecast/Reporting – Total Vehicle Coordination
Support Productivity Lead to ensure Cost and Productivity results are being represented accurately
• Support Regional Standardization
Cost Management Shop Representative
• Primary Contact for selection of manufacturing shops to manage and support:
o Shop Financial Reporting
o Annual Budget Setting
o Daily Shop Support
• Overall site Cost Lead
o Site budget and forecast lead analyst
o Support leading and providing peer mentorship to other A&F TMs
• Lead Labor Analysis
o Monthly AvA, AvF (BOD)
o Budget/Forecast Analysis
o Rate/Fringe Analysis
• Support PBM (Profit by Model) Process with Labor Rate Analysis
• Support Regional Standardization
What you bring
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or similar related degree or equivalent work-related experience
• 4+ years of Manufacturing/Cost Accounting experience, including Budget/scenario planning, Cost per unit analysis and Cost /usage variance analysis
• Financial close and month end reporting experience, including managing close processes to ensure all entries are created and posted, variance analysis
• Creating financial reports for executive management
• Prior experience in project management leadership, analytical, organizational, relationship building, persuasion and presentation skills
• Ability to effectively communicate, persuade and negotiate with all levels of management including executive level
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, advanced formulas, etc)
• Proficient in MS Suite
