We embrace a flexible working culture that enables our teams to split their time between their homes and our offices in Massachusetts and Amsterdam.About the RoleThe Senior Accounting Manager is a key leadership role within the global Finance & Accounting team, responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations across Coravin's four entities. This role partners closely with the Senior Director and Accounting Manager and directly supervises two NL-based team members. The ideal candidate brings deep technical accounting expertise in US GAAP, a process improvement mindset, and the ability to operate effectively across time zones and jurisdictions.Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day accounting operations across global entities, supporting timely and accurate month-end and year-end closeDirectly supervise the NL-based Senior Accountant and Junior Accountant, providing guidance, review, and development supportServe as primary liaison with external auditors, coordinating audit requests, managing the PBC list, and ensuring timely delivery of supporting documentationOversee general ledger integrity, journal entry review, and account reconciliations across entitiesSupport multi-entity consolidation, intercompany reconciliations, and elimination entriesAssist in the development and documentation of accounting policies and internal controlsPartner with the Senior Director on technical accounting matters and implementation of new standardsAct as point of escalation for AP and AR queries, resolving complex issues and ensuring alignment with company policiesOversee transfer pricing compliance and support global tax strategy in partnership with external advisors and the Senior DirectorReview and drive opportunities for automation and process clarity across AP, AR, bank reconciliations, and email managementWhat We're Looking For7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory roleStrong technical accounting knowledge and familiarity with US GAAPExperience working across multiple legal entities and currencies in a global environmentFamiliarity with ERP systems;...
