Why This Role Matters

  • Drive the execution of category strategies that maximize sales, profitability, and customer value across the local retail business and franchise network.

  • Strengthen supplier partnerships, optimize product assortment and pricing, and ensure category plans are successfully executed from sourcing through point of sale.

  • Collaborate across regional and local teams to deliver commercial growth while aligning country execution with EMEA category strategy.

What You'll Do

  • Execute country category plans, including assortment, pricing, promotions, merchandising, and profitability initiatives.

  • Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities and optimize category performance.

  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, negotiate commercial agreements, and drive supplier performance against annual targets.

  • Monitor category performance using key metrics such as sales, market share, and profitability, and implement actions to achieve business objectives.

  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, IT, and other cross-functional teams to ensure successful category execution and supplier alignment.

  • Coordinate supplier contract management activities and ensure compliance with contractual, legal, and company requirements.

  • Support franchisees through category engagement initiatives and effective communication to drive successful implementation of category strategies.

What We're Looking For

Basic qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Marketing, or a related field.

  • 3-5 years of experience in category management, procurement, or commercial roles, preferably within the automotive or a related industry.

  • Experience negotiating with suppliers and managing commercial relationships.

  • Fluent in English and the local language.

  • Strong analytical skills with experience in pricing strategies, performance analysis, and market research.

  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills within a multicultural environment.

Preferred qualifications

  • Knowledge of the retail industry, ideally within the tire or automotive aftermarket
