Business Analyst
Join Verity Solutions as a Business Analyst focused on data analytics, where you will turn complex program data into clear insights that improve customer outcomes and business performance. In this role, you will partner across Sales, Finance, Operations, Product, and customer teams to guide 340B program decisions, validate deal performance, and support continuous improvement throughout the full customer lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Lead analytics-driven processes with Sales and Finance to qualify prospective opportunities and recommend deal outcomes.
- Deliver standard return-on-investment analyses for contract pharmacy sales leads and compare actual results against initial assumptions.
- Develop data-driven performance and exception management insights for customer programs across the portfolio.
- Design, track, and report program performance, highlighting trends and exceptions that inform business action.
- Lead quarterly deal and program performance reviews with analysis, recommendations, and executive-ready summaries.
- Support post-implementation investigations when program results fall short of expectations.
- Provide ad hoc analytics support to triage customer program issues and diagnose performance concerns.
- Use data visualization and analysis to tell a clear performance story for customer programs and prospecting efforts.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of experience in financial analysis, report writing, business analytics, or related analytical roles.
- Demonstrated ability to use large datasets and business context to diagnose problems and recommend solutions.
- Experience using data visualization techniques to synthesize conclusions for leaders or customers.
- Ability to manage multiple analytics projects independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong consultative communication skills with ability to deliver data-driven recommendations across teams and to customers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly with executive audiences.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and curiosity when working through ambiguous problems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (preferred, not required)
- Experience in healthcare, pharmacy operations, or 340B program environments.
- Experience using Studio 3T or similar tools to query datasets.
- Advanced experience with Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or similar data visualization tools.
- Experience learning and applying SaaS technology as part of daily workflow.
Working Conditions
- This role uses a computer and phone throughout the day. Travel may be required up to 20% based on business needs.
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 79,000 - 131,600 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
