A nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.Local Team Collaboration:At Methodist Southlake Campus, our strong, collaborative team includes six physicians and two advanced practitioners who join forces with other hospital staff and departments to bring the best possible quality of care to our patients.Work alongside a very diverse team who come from all different geographical locations, backgrounds, and cultures. All requisite visa filing fees and services are covered by Sound.Scheduling:Night positions with an array of flexible scheduling options.Key Responsibilities:Day Hospitalists Round on patients as well as do admissions. Our model is 2-3 Hospitalists along with an APP working as a team.Serve as the solo clinician at night, covering a 21-bed open ICU. We do not perform procedures, but we do run codes and rapids.You will be admitting to the ICU, but do consult with an intensivist. We also have specialty support that can be at the hospital within minutes if necessary.As a nocturnist, it is important to understand that some nights can be hectic, and some nights are quiet.
