The role involves building and managing CI/CD pipelines, ensuring system performance, reliability, and security, and enabling automation through infrastructure as code and modern DevOps practices within a data analytics environment. ## What you’ll do * Design, implement, and manage cloud-based infrastructure with a focus on Google Cloud Platform * Develop, automate, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support efficient and reliable deployments * Apply infrastructure as code practices using tools such as Terraform to automate environments * Deploy and manage containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes, leveraging tools such as Helm or ArgoCD * Act as a subject matter resource, supporting stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood and delivered effectively * Drive continuous improvement in deployment cycles, system reliability, and operational processes * Develop and maintain scalable, sustainable services and applications using clean coding practices ## Who you are * Strong experience with DevOps tools and platforms including GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GCP, Kubernetes, and Docker * Knowledge of infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible * Understanding of DevSecOps principles, IT service management processes, and system reliability practices * Familiarity with networking concepts, databases, DNS, proxies, and security principles * Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash for automation tasks * Experience in monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Datadog, and Elasticsearch * Background in managing CI/CD pipelines and optimising system performance and availability * Experience with containerisation and orchestration technologies * Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams * Approximately 3+ years of relevant DevOps experience with a proven track record of delivery ## Not a perfect fit?
