This means getting actively involved in development work related to Customer Demographics, Debit Card Processor, Checking and Savings, Loans, Payments, Customer Statements and Advices,…, etc. Responsibilities:Utilize knowledge of applications development procedures and concepts, and basic knowledge of other technical areas to identify and define necessary system enhancementsIdentify and analyze issues, make recommendations, and implement solutionsUtilize knowledge of business processes, system processes, and industry standards to solve complex issuesAnalyze information and make evaluative judgements to recommend solutions and improvementsConduct testing and debugging, utilize script tools, and write basic code for design specificationsAssess applicability of similar experiences and evaluate options under circumstances not covered by proceduresDevelop working knowledge of Citi’s information systems, procedures, standards, client server application development, network operations, database administration, systems administration, data center operations, and PC-based applicationsAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.Qualifications:3-5 years of relevant experienceGood technical programming skill sets on mainframe COBOL, JCL, DB2,The work products developed will be running in the IBM mainframe environment. Minimally prior knowledge in at least 1 of the following programming languages is required (COBOL, Java). This role requires close collaboration with solution lead, senior application development analyst, technical InfoSec officer in translating the design into functional code. The scope of work includes understanding of the business requirement, application solutioning and design, InfoSec implications, user story ownership, quality and on time application deliveries (development, testing and implementation).
