Job Description:
Reporting to the Team Manager, the Operations Officer is responsible for supporting daily banking operations with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, regulatory compliance, and timely service delivery.
This role provides broad operational support, including general and specialized transaction processing, while communicating professionally with partners and demonstrating a clear understanding of client needs, TD products, and internal processes.
Job Responsibilities:
Process transactions accurately and on time, in accordance with established guidelines, procedures, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Escalate processing and operational issues to the appropriate function or partner as needed, supporting timely resolution while maintaining service quality and procedural alignment.
Respond to partner questions, provide clarification, and support the resolution of identified deficiencies.
Support incoming partner transactions by validating information and completing adjustments within approved authority levels.
Build and maintain effective working relationships with customers, partners, and vendors by responding to questions and concerns in a timely, professional manner.
Maintain awareness of internal and industry regulations, emerging issues, and due diligence requirements, applying them in accordance with operating policies and procedures.
Review internal processes and activities to identify and recommend opportunities for continuous improvement.
Job Requirements:
1+ years of relevant experience.
College and/or university degree would be considered an asset.
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Strong communication, interpersonal, planning, and time management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Understand and apply operating policies and procedures
Ability to work efficiently while meeting individual and team-driven benchmarks.
Conscientious and detail-oriented, with a focus on mitigating risk to the bank.
Customer-driven, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Ability to take ownership of situations and know when to escalate issues as required
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Ensure Service Level Agreements are met consistently.
Adapt to new processes and technology improvements.
Primary focus is on completing day-to-day processes and activities, with additional responsibilities assigned as required.
