Quality Technician III - 1st Shift

Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. ## What you’ll do: • Maintain, troubleshoot, and validate CMM equipment for the Receiving Inspection and Machine Shop areas. • Identify and recommend appropriate gaging technology for specific features and tolerances. • Write and execute CMM programs, design and order fixturing for part layouts, capability studies, and first/last piece inspections for current and new products. • Attend training sessions as necessary for software updates and improvements. • Assist Quality Engineers, Supervisor and Quality Manager in the continuous improvement of the CMM support service. • Support Measurement System Analysis activities such as Gage R&Rs. • Writing and editing CMM-related Procedures. • Recognize and recommend potential savings and process improvements. • Support company quality manual and AS9100 requirements in order to maintain compliance. • Maintain clean equipment and work area. ## Qualifications: Required Qualifications • High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution required. • Minimum of 5 years of CMM programming experience with knowledge of, and experience with, GD&T and Hand Tools (caliper, micrometer, pin gages, etc.) • No relocation is offered for this position. Only candidates who reside within a 50-mile radius of the Camarillo, CA facility will be considered. • This position requires access to export-controlled information. To conform to U.S. Government export regulations applicable to that information, applicant must be a U.S. person, defined as a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (green card holder), (iii) refugee under 8 U.S.C. 1157, or (iv) asylee under 8 U.S.C. 1158.
