Job Purpose
The Manager of Power Equipment Fleet Sales is responsible for leading and optimizing all B2B fleet and commercial sales across mass merchants, national retail partners, e-commerce platforms, and wholesale distributor/OEM engine operations. This role ensures seamless daily execution, strong national account partner engagement, and consistent communication of industry and partner updates while managing and developing a sales team of to drive operational excellence and revenue growth.
Key Accountabilities
• B2B Channel Oversight: Oversee daily operations across mass merchants, national retail partners, e-commerce, and distributor engine operations to ensure service levels, order accuracy, and partner satisfaction.
• Fleet & Partner Operations Management: Lead sales team in development and execution of retailer annual SBA contracts, marketing and sales plans, promotional activity, retail KPIs (GMROI, OH inventory, sale pipeline, etc.)
• Sales Team Leadership: Directly manage, coach, and develop (6) sales staff in business acumen, value-based/consultive selling, partnership development, strategic planning, results orientation.
• Operational Communication & Updates: Provide regular industry, market, and partner updates to internal sales teams, leadership, and external partners to ensure alignment and timely execution of department strategy.
• Process Improvement & Performance Optimization: Identify operational gaps, improve workflows, support system enhancements, and implement best practices to drive efficiency and scalability.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
Minimum Educational Qualifications
• BA/BS Business, Finance, Marketing or equivalent combination of experience, technical knowledge, and leadership capability strongly considered.
Minimum Experience
• 15+ years of experience in outdoor power equipment, industrial equipment, or commercial sales operations.
• 5+ years managing/leading sales teams.
Other Job-Specific Skills
• Strong understanding of B2B sales operations and national account programs.
• Conflict resolution and partner escalation management.
• Ability to prioritize in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
